+====== Shock at Planning Permission Refusal ======
+At the Area North Planning meeting on Wednesday 23rd January the planning application for the proposed new Rectory on land close to Buttle Close was rejected by a narrow margin of 7-6.
+This decision was made despite the wishes of our community in general.  Both our ward councillors Keith Ronaldson and Paull Robathan strongly supported the application as does the Parish Council.
+It remains to be seen whether the Bath & Wells Diocese who are responsible for the housing of priests will appeal against this decision.
