+====== Boy Bishop introduced at St. Nicholas service  ======
+The middle ages tradition of having a Boy Bishop [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_bishop|Wiki]]  was revived in our church to celebrate St Nicholas' day which falls on December 6th.  Our Boy Bishop was in fact a girl Harriott Uren who carried out her duties with due decorum and dignity reading the lesson and also leading prayers.  Traditionally a Boy Bishop would retain his position until 28th December, Harriott was pleased that she was only installed for the day.
+After the service Father Christmas made an unexpected and somewhat noisy entrance, playing the role of St Nicholas by distributing sweets to everyone.
